The hotel has 19 bedrooms, plus two 5 star rated holiday cottages – one for two guests and one for four. Hotel and cottages occupy an enviable location within this popular Cotswold village. The Broadway Hotel and Manderley cottage are on the village green, the romantic cottage-for-two is tucked away, less than a minute’s walk from both the hotel and centre of the village.
The hotel’s bedrooms are named after Cheltenham Gold Cup winners and, reflecting the prime Cotswold location, the country theme is maintained throughout the hotel, not least in Tattersalls Brasserie and the dog-friendly Jockey Bar. Bedrooms are individually designed and are praised by guests for country chic and comfort. The hotel also boasts a large front terrace overlooking the village green, where you can enjoy a drink or two and watch the world go by…
The hotel has long been central to village life. Formerly a blacksmiths and later the home of the village baker, the site has its origins in the 15th century and the Broadway Hotel is listed as a Grade II 16th Century building.
One of the most loved walks in the Cotswolds leads up to the local landmark, Broadway Tower, from where you can see 16 counties. Broadway village has recently been linked with the local steam heritage railway, leaving from Broadway Station to Cheltenham racecourse and is less than 20 minutes walk from the hotel. Cotswold villages, gardens and historic houses are also within easy reach.
Broadway village has an artistic heritage and is home to art & antiques galleries and shops along with two museums . To step out of the Broadway Hotel onto the village green at the end of the day, when the village is quieter, is one of the great Cotswold experiences.
